Our Services
MUNICIPAL SERVICES: OIP serves as the Town Engineer for the towns of Chevy Chase, Chevy Chase View, and Glen Echo in Montgomery County, Maryland. We reviews plans and applications for conformance with Town Codes, and conduct periodic inspection of construction to verify that work is proceeding in accordance with the approved plans. CIVIL ENGINEERING DESIGN: OIP prepares plans and documents for land development including - storm drainage, erosion and sediment control, storm water management, grading, parking lot design, fire department access plans, and site utility plans for DC Water and WSSC. Our typical clients develop or redevelop single family homes and additions, small commercial properties, and religious institutions. In Washington DC, we also sub-consult for suitable DGS projects.

In addition to the items described above, OIP prepares plans and exhibits for special exceptions and variances, and for general site development on an as-needed basis, and feasibility studies for land development.
OIP provides Surveying Services through sub-consultants.
OIP runs permits for DC Water Site Utility Plans, DC SWM and Erosison and Sediment Control Plans and for Montgomery County SWM and Sediment Control Plans that we prepare.
